The oem third cat is found in all 3.5L Toyota powered Emira's worldwide. These third cats are a restrictive damper the awesome sound of these cars and in most cases not needed. You are responsible to know your local emissions laws and these are sold for off-road/race track use only.
Simple bolt in design, reuses the oem gasket but includes new nuts and bolts for 3 bolt flange.
Some installs have experienced a crumbling oem exhaust gasket upon removal of the stock 3rd cat pipe (even on a brand new car) This can be replaced with an oem gasket or we have also successfully used a FelPro 61473 exhaust ring gasket. We have these available for purchase separately in the Emira parts section or you can get them from your local oreillys, autozone or Napa. These are a cheap $10 gasket so its not a bad idea to have one ready in the event you need it for install.
Although it has been rare, some installs have been noted that the inlet of the muffler is slightly larger than the outlet of the decat pipe. This is a variation from car to car due to manufacturing tolerances between the oem exhaust and our decat. This is an easy fix with a tail pipe expanding tool which can be bought on amazon or at the auto parts store. Some auto parts store will loan or rent them as well. As an alternative an automotive exhaust tape like the helix racing (Part #402-1888) could be used as well but the expansion tool is preferred.
