This is a key only unit and does not include or have provisions for the extra Cobra alarm fob for Series 2 Elise & Exige cars from 2002+ or the built in electronics on 2007+ cars.
Q&A:
1. Compatibility:
The E Key is compatible with all 2002+ Elise, Exige.
Please Select your Year from the drop down menu when ordering and use the picture below to reference for the correct key blank which changed for cars built on or around 2005.
2. Do I have to send in my key?
No. These are a simple DIY assembly, you will just need to get the new key blank cut for your car at a local locksmith.
3. Which key do I need to order?
For all 2002+ cars you will need either X168 or a X222 style key.
Typically 2005 and older has a X222 and 2006-2007 has a X168 but sometimes there could be exceptions, so please take a look at your current key if you fall into that year range before ordering to ensure you get the correct blank.
The 2008+ Keys all use a X168 type Key.
